Globes on Remote's influences channel all the cheesy living room dance-party tracks of Tom Tom Club, Hall and Oates, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis. They were all ape-shit for "Beat It" as kids, but it's not like they have grown much since those days. It's not strictly dance music. The use of horns, megaphones, guitars, and noise effects keep things interesting; but when Globes on Remote play, people dance.
