Same Sights, Happy Birthday

Dinner is being prepared.
hej dear readers, you! for some weeks we have been hiding quietly under the radar, making new plans, plus some changes and adjustments to our outfit we call siva. it may be quiet on the outside but as we are preparing the coming steps right now, there is a lot happening at the heart of the matter. we are spinning around different centers at the moment, and let us tell you this: having set some new goals is doing a good thing to the spirit of our little group. as of now we can tell you that we sort things out on various fronts, draw some lines, trying different colours and create new shapes that will be filled by the coming months. all that just to give you something special when the autumn sun has returned to our doorsteps. we have been recording bits here and there for this occasion, so before we talk to much without saying something... we are looking forward to the coming weeks and months as it will be a quite creative time for us to spend. we will keep you posted, so keep checking back! too much sun is not that good anyway. always yours, siva.

First half done... we are back home.
We are back home from our first week of touring. You have been incredible! We brought a bag full of good memories home, thanks to you. Now we catch some sleep, we need to. Next thursday we are on the road again, until then we are busy bees. We hope you are fine, and by the way, if you have any pictures or tour material of any kind, please let us know... it would be fun. Have a good start of the week!

same sights, new light!
ladies and gentleman, the time has come! we are proud and happy, thrilled and and good old bit of scared too: on july 3, 2009 we release our new and sophomore album "same sights, new light" on devilduck records! after recording adventures, broken machines, mixing odysseys and artwork marathons everything is now prepared to bring you ten new songs, packaged in the format of your choice... the album will be released on vinyl, cd and digital format and comes with artwork created by romy blümel, who also painted for our last album.
2 years have past since our debut album and a lot of things have changed in the meantime... line-up changes, a shift of perspectives, hopes and possibilities and new ep releases admidst it all. in 4 months we created something to sum it all up, the collect the pieces we were so determined to show to you. without the help of friends and family it would not have been possible to do it, we thank everyone involved who helped painting this album with us!
to celebrate the release of "same sights, new light" we will play 4 shows before the record will be out in the shops on july 3, so you have the chance to get it a good 3 weeks in advance... that's the early bird bonus, folks! we can't wait to play the new songs live for all of you. oh yes, you can tell.

in 7 days from now you will be able to listen to a song from the record, we will release a free mp3 for each and everyone of you. so, next monday you have a new song for breakfast. and we are excited to hear what what you think of it.
